DirtMeet is built for riders, not advertisers. Your data stays yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and the profile information you provide (name, skill level, bike details, riding style, bio, and profile photo).
Ride data: When you create or join rides, we store ride details (title, location, date, description) and your participation status.
Messages: Messages sent in ride chats, Town Square, group chats, and organization chats are stored on our servers to enable real-time communication between riders.
Community activity: When you follow riding areas, post trail condition reports, log completed rides (with optional photos and captions), create or join organizations, or signal interest via ride beacons, that data is stored to power the community features you use.
Location: We request location permission to sort rides by distance and to geocode ride locations. Your precise location is never stored on our servers or shared with other users.
Push notification tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send ride-related alerts.
Crash logs: If the app crashes, we collect anonymous error data (error message, stack trace, screen name) to fix bugs.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security policies that ensure users can only access their own data and public ride information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
DirtMeet+ subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, bank account, or other payment details. Subscription management (cancellation, renewal) is handled through your device settings.
We do not use analytics platforms, ad networks, or data brokers.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, rides, messages, ratings, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
DirtMeet is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us.
You can access, update, or delete your personal data at any time through the app. To request a copy of your data or ask questions about this policy, contact us at the email below.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of DirtMeet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
